Posting Guidelines
Posting is the main activity of Freebootr.com and we encourage you to post often. Of course, without posts there'd be no free stuff! So scour your garages, attics, basements and closets for items you no longer need or want and post them here. Remember matey, by following the guidelines for posting, you make it easier for other users to find your listing and take that unwanted stuff off your hands.
- Try to limit to one item per post, unless the items are related.
- Include a picture, if you have one. People want to see the condition of yer stuff.
- Choose cross-streets close to your location. If you choose major cross streets, you run the risk of yer item(s) being obscured by others posting at the same cross streets.
- Only post things you really want to get rid of. Seriously, people are going to take your stuff...
- Giving is easier than receiving, so give often!
Searching Guidelines
Searching is an important part of Freebootr.com, but without listings there wouldn't be a lot to search. We've made it easy to find what yer looking for with our easy to use search feature. You can find it near the top of your screen. Simply enter some keywords and find what you need. Here are some handy tips when you're searching for loot.
- The more keywords you enter into the search box, the less results you get. Use this to narrow your search.
- Make sure your location is set correctly. You can find this option to the left of the search box.
- Looking for something in a specific location? Try searching by city or street name.
